It was one of those days when all the concerns begin to look no big deals and new ideas energize my soul. Enjoyed taking a walk with my son, sketching for new projects, thinking about dear old friend far far away from here etc. What I am learning here is to be more patient. Waiting until the right moment to arrive. It took me so long to take a deep breath and go slow. Surrender is not a negative word to me anymore. I am the universe. 'Aham Brahmasmi.'

Special spring gift

Long awaited spring arrived, and it's been great so far.  Activities were limited with one a year-old last year.  We have more freedom and independence now.  New fun and joy to celebrate.

One of them is a lovely gift from my son.  He picked up a fallen bloom and handed it to me under gorgeous cherry blossoms.  

All the selfless stressful days are paid off :-) 

This is the season I get inspiration and energy from Tokyo's famous urban gardens. Last year, I drew Tokyo Urban Garden inspired by blossoms of colorful flowers in the neighborhood. 

It's here again.  It's been a year since then... my boy will be three this summer!  Time flies.

This is from about 3 years ago.  I miss my family, the weather, the smell of fireplaces!

Nature collage

 The whole family went back to nature this weekend and lost ourselves in colors.  We spent beautiful time on a beautiful day.

Autumn fun

Long awaited sunny crispy autumn day arrived, so I got out and enjoyed it as much as I could.  I have to say it was a perfect day at the park.  I don't usually give perfect points to anything, so you can tell it was special:-) 

I have not been using my SLR camera for a long time, especially since my son started to walk.  The phone camera is more suitable to quickly capture the precious moments in every day life.  Since he started to understand that 'cheese' I say with camera is not the one for eating, maybe I will be able to work with my SLR again. 

Some ideas with little birdies..

Placing them on my doodles turn out to be kind of nice instagram shots.

My life is all about him now.

It's totally worth it. Yes, it's the cutest time, also the toughest time. Mr. No Man who cannot fall asleep without mommy now.  I love you. 

My precious.

My precious turned two.  I was mostly feeling so busy taking care of him and keeping him alive during the first year.  Now he shows me beautiful moon, tells me he loves me, asks me to read books and play elephant. I love this little man, and he is my precious, mine mine mine..:-) I know someday he'll take off to explore the world. Until then, I would like to have fun time with him as much as possible.  I love my life now.

We went back to the Pacific Ocean

 

My family and I started our summer early at a beach near Tokyo.  It was overcast and windy at the beach, but I enjoyed feeling ocean breeze very much.  It's been since Redondo Beach since I slept with ocean scent and wave sound. Oh, I missed the Pacific Ocean.  It almost made me teary. Most of all, my baby enjoyed playing at the beach so much. Precious time...
